Certification Programs

The Programs at A Gathering Place hold high standards!

Our permanent staff include instructors who each have over 1000 hours of training in bodywork and who are certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

The Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education has approved A Gathering Place to operate as a school. This certification is required by the Missouri State Board of Therapeutic Massage for those students seeking licensure as massage therapists.

The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) has granted A Gathering Place Massage School the honored status of Continuing Education Approved Provider (Category A Provider 1998-2003) for various courses taught at the school.

We are an institutional member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). This organization supports our students by providing professional liability insurance and information on current topics in the industry.

A Gathering Place is a provider for government funding from the Workforce Investment Act, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Veterans' Education. Consult the school's administrator for more information on available funding.
